Local Primary Resources: Louise Pettus Articles
Through her interesting and thought-provoking articles, free-lance writer Louise Pettus has been educating the public for years about our local history. Pettus, a native of Indian Land in Lancaster County, is a Professor Emeritus of history from Winthrop University. She realizes the importance of passing along the stories of our past to the next generation, and has therefore shared her work with the TAH project. Teachers may use these articles to stimulate their students' curiosity and learning.
