The Catawba Indian Nation is located on the banks of the beautiful Catawba River in York County, South Carolina.  The Catawbas are the only recognized federal tribe in the state.  The descendents of this once-powerful warrior nation are proud of their heritage, and strive to educate others through programs of song and dance, and demonstrations of the making of traditional Catawba pottery.
